And what for Wednesday and Thursday and Friday … and of course the dreaded Mondays! Then again some sang it was all they hoped it would be. Hmm.

    Yeah for Duvets though!

And what about Wednesday, Thursday or Friday? Not to mentioned much maligned Mondays … except by the Mama’s and the Papas.

Still … I like your wee poem and of course duvets!

    Hi Brian,

Thank you for recognizing the ironic patterns in our language and for spinning such a poem that fits so seamlessly into this linguistic puzzle.

I’m printing a self-published book of poetry, paired with my photographs, not for profit, but as a way to rekindle a love for poetry among friends and family. I’d love to include your poem, ‘An invention of collective nouns’, in this collection, with your permission.

Hoping you agree! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
